Caring Professionals
Dr. Kevin J. Stachowiak – Owner/VeterinarianI graduated from MSU in 2000. After graduating I started working in my hometown of Essexville, MI. From there, I moved to Lake Charles, LA where I worked at a large, busy practice learning many advanced surgical procedures. I was then offered a position at the Caseville Small animal clinic. I loved it at Caseville Small Animal Clinic, so in 2002, I purchased the clinic. I love performing surgery using the latest technological advances in veterinary medicine and surgery to the benefits of our patients. We are currently utilizing Cutting Edge Laser Surgery in the advancement of minimally invasive surgery. In my “spare time”, I have a consulting service where I train other veterinarians in the U.S. and Canada to use Cutting Edge Lasers and MedRx video vetscopes. When not traveling the country, I reside in Caseville with my two cats “Mr. Wyatt”, “Virgil”, my Red-tailed Boa Constrictor “Ringo”, and multiple freshwater aquariums. My other favorite hobbies include scuba diving, and playing ice hockey. Sadly, my lab "Hoover" passed away in February 2010. Please see his memorial for more information. |
Dr. Carrie A. Hooper – Associate VeterinarianI have enjoyed being a small animal veterinarian since graduating from MSU in 2001. I began working part-time at Caseville Small Animal Clinic in April 2006 after becoming a mother in December 2005. My daughters Faith and Olivia, husband Ryan, Bentley the lab, 2 cats Flirt & Squirt, and I love living in “The Thumb.” We all appreciate its beauty and quietness. The Caseville Small Animal Clinic is a wonderful place to practice veterinary medicine with a caring and compassionate staff, up-to-date technology, and a genuine love of animals. |
Sandra Samczyk - Practice ManagerI have been working in the veterinary field for a number of years, I started out as a receptionist/assistant. I have always enjoyed being around pets as I grew up on a big farm with every animal imaginable. Over the years I have shared laughter and tears with our clients and their beloved pets. It is enjoyable meeting so many animal lovers, they are truly special people to share their lives with our furry friends. I reside in Caseville with my husband, my Norfolk Terrier "Mr. Wilson" and my cat "Sable". Last year we had to say good-bye to our loyal friend "Slick". |
Kellee Roth - Licensed Veterinary Technician I graduated from Baker College in 2005 as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. After graduation, I started working at Pytel Veterinary Clinic in Goodrich until moving back into the Thumb area in 2006. I enjoy being back in the thumb and am proud to be a part of the Caseville Small Animal Clinic. I enjoy caring for animals. I have 2 cats, Beast and Toby. |
Janelle Roggenbuck - Licensed Veterinary TechnicianI graduated from a 2 year Veterinary Technician Program at Baker College of Port Huron in 2009. Following graduation I obtained a job at a veterinary clinic in Plymouth where I worked for 2 years as an LVT. I liked working at the veterinary clinic but I did not like living in the city since I grew up in Harbor Beach on a farm. I guess deep down I will always be a country girl. In November 2011 I joined the team at Caseville Small Animal Clinic. I must say I was a bit worried the pets would not receive the same top notch care they have available in the city but boy was I wrong! Here at Caseville Small Animal Clinic they have most of the same machines I worked with in the city and then some! As I said before I grew up on a farm in Harbor Beach making it possible to own horses. A day after my 10th birthday I brought home my first pony "Beauty". I put a lot of miles on Beauty trail riding when I first got her. Later on I got introduced to showing horses where I learned to show and do speed events with her. We did so well that we qualified to go to the State 4-H horse show where we won multiple gold medals in speed events! 2 years after getting Beauty I got a beautiful Palomino Quarter Horse "Katie". I soon got a little big to ride Beauty so I started to show and contest Katie. I also qualified to go to the State 4-H horse show multiple times with her. After I moved to the city I was fortunate enough to take Katie with me where she boarded at a co-workers house for about a year and a half. In July 2011 I brought her back to Harbor Beach so I could show her one last time at the Huron County Fair. In September 2011 I sold Katie to a neighbor girl that has known Katie for years and has shown her at many horse shows. A couple days after Katie left one of the ladies that previously gave me riding lessons on Beauty came and got her for her 3 boys to ride. I then got a 3 year old paint "Scout" who is going to be my new project to work with and train. I am not only a horse lover though I also own a white medium haired cat "Casper" and a puggle "Casey". One day when I was in college we were working with humane society animals and Casper came in. Well let's just say he didn't go back to the human society and came home with me instead. I then rescued Casey from a small dog rescue in March 2010 as a 3 year old. I have always loved animals and am very satisfied with my career choice. I love working with animals on a daily basis and could not be happier especially now that I am closer to home and working at a fantastic veterinary clinic! You should bring your pets in and visit us here at Caseville Small Animal Clinic, even if it is just to say Hi. We always love to see you and your pets happy faces! |
Janelle Wiederhold - Assistant I have been working in the veterinary field since I was 16. I got my start here at Caseville Small Animal Clinic working in the kennel when I was still in school. After graduating, I moved to the Sterling Heights area where I held positions at two different veterinary clinics, and learned more about the aspects of veterinary medicine. I moved back to the area in 2005, and have been enjoying life back at Caseville Small Animal Clinic since my return. I look forward to the new experiences, wonderful people and pets that each day brings. I am proud to be part of such a talented, caring veterinary team. |
Jamie Musolff – Assistant / Pet Care TechnicianI joined the staff at Caseville Small Animal Clinic in September 2009. I am currently attending Baker College of Port Huron in hopes of becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I enjoy the hands on experience I receive at Caseville Small Animal Clinic and it keeps me motivated to study hard and complete my degree. In May 2009, I spent one week in the Florida Keys studying dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center. It was a unique experience to learn about an animal we don’t get to see in Huron County. Animals have always been a big part of my life; I have 4 dogs, 3 cats, and various farm animals. |

Annette Renn – Pet GroomerAfter 20 years as a retail florist in Pigeon, I have the privilege to join Caseville Small Animal Clinic and indulge in my other love – animals. I am attracted to the artful nature of pet grooming, and detail oriented work fits well with my personality and past floral experience. I am a Pigeon native, graduate of Laker High and Saginaw Valley State University. My husband Dean, 4 year old daughter Shawnnessy and infant son Jesse and I share our Pigeon area home with an Australian Sheperd, Cada and Border Collie mix, Abby Lou as well as a parakeet, Skye Bird. In 2008 I organized Abby's Hairy Heart Campaign for the Thumb Animal Shelter and I conduct a yearly walk-a-thon fundraising event to benefit the shelter. I have been generously trained by Carol Shamka. With her 20 plus years experience as a pet groomer, the personal direction and wealth of knowledge I have received from her has set a firm foundation for my new career. I am looking forward to serving the people of Huron County on a whole new capacity, and adding yet another high-quality service to the Caseville Small Animal Clinic. |
Jade Parker – Pet Care TechnicianI have lived in Huron County my whole life and I love it here. My two dogs, Spencer and Cole, mean the world to me. Nothing makes me happier than pulling into my driveway and having them run up to my car. When I got the call that I was going to be a part of the Caseville Small Animal Clinic, I was thrilled! It’s so nice to be around people that have the same passion and love for animals as I do. I’m looking forward to learning more everyday and seeing all of you and your pets! |
O'Shea – Clinic Mascot O'Shea joined our healthcare team in February 2002. He decided his purpose in life was to live at Caseville Small Animal Clinic, to be here to greet and comfort all incoming patients and their families. He is on the job 365 days a year, faithfully serving others. Although he has been known for his friendly bite & for tearing open bags of food and sampling it. He also serves as night watchcat. |
