We want every visit to be as smooth and stress-free as possible — for both you and your pet. Here’s what you can expect when you come to see us:
Checking In
When you arrive for your appointment, please stop by the front desk to check in. Our friendly team will greet you and get your pet’s visit started. To help keep everyone safe and comfortable, we ask that dogs be on a leash and cats or small pets arrive in a secure carrier.
During Your Visit
Once you’re checked in, one of our team members will guide you and your pet to an exam room. We’ll take the time to discuss your concerns, review your pet’s health history, and perform a thorough exam. Our goal is always to listen, communicate clearly, and help you feel confident in your pet’s care.
Urgent Care Appointments
We understand that pet health issues can come up unexpectedly — and that waiting days for an open appointment isn’t always possible. Because of this, we reserve time every day for urgent care cases that can’t wait.
Each day, one of our licensed veterinary technicians is dedicated to managing these visits, which can range from minor issues like ear infections or urinary tract infections to more serious concerns such as vomiting, dehydration, or lacerations.
Urgent care visits are typically drop-off appointments. When you arrive, you’ll meet with our technician to review your concerns and your pet’s symptoms. Throughout the day, Dr. Stachowiak or Dr. Hooper will examine your pet between scheduled surgeries and appointments. The doctor will then call you to discuss their findings, review any test results, and go over treatment options, medications, and costs.
When your pet’s care is complete, you can pick them up at a time that’s convenient for your schedule. This approach helps us make sure that sick or injured pets get the attention they need — even when our schedule is full.
Medications & Prescriptions
Our fully stocked in-house pharmacy allows us to fill most prescriptions the same day as your visit, so your pet can begin treatment right away.
